Tempering

Tempering glass involves heating it to high temperatures and rapidly cooling it to increase strength and safety. It withstands impact and thermal shock better than untreated glass, breaking into small, safe pieces if it fractures. Used widely in doors, windows, and automotive applications, tempered glass enhances safety in environments where breakage could pose a risk.
